Church on Purpose
Church is not an extracurricular activity. Church is an important and vital part of our faith journey. And that’s because the journey to grow in Christ is taken through the local church. Please listen carefully when I say this. The New Testament talks all about the Church, and it does not have a plan for growing us as Christians outside of the local church. Scripture leaves no doubt that God wants local congregations to be at the center of Christian ministry.
Church on Purpose: Giving
To truly understand tithing and why we do it, we first have to understand the purpose of money, whose it really is, and what it means in our lives. The truth is our views of money may not align with God’s.
Church on Purpose: Praying
Prayer really is the way you demonstrate faith in God’s Word and trust in His will. You truly cannot prioritize God’s will without praying.
Church on Purpose: Serving
Taking a deeper look at serving, reaching outward beyond ourselves. A true servant wants to please the master.
Attending Church Member
There’s something about church attendance that you can’t see, touch, taste, or smell that makes it the most powerful investment of your whole week.
Church on Purpose: Unifying
Unity and love will naturally happen when we determine, that in God’s power, we will put others before ourselves.
