Prayer must permeate our lives and churches as we seek to experience renewal.
When we devote ourselves to Scripture, we will experience a revival of faith in our lives together.
The only thing that matters at the end of each person’s life is their relationship with God.
God’s mercy has given us the chance to die to ourselves and come alive in Christ. So be a living sacrifice that no longer conforms to the patterns of this world. The world around us is deceptive, selfish, angry, and foolish. As followers of Jesus Christ, these cannot be the patterns we live by.
Your past does not define you. You are more than what you’ve done. Your past no longer has the last word and final say over your life. That’s all been covered by the blood of Jesus.
When we submit to the love of Jesus in our lives, we are compelled to live life like Him and to invite others to join us.
What could happen if we were people who were willing to choose to love selflessly, sacrificially, and unconditionally no matter what it might cost us? I believe that way of living can and will change the world, and lead us to the fullest life possible.
The recipe for the full life of God is made available by the gracious offer of a sacrificial love from Christ. When we receive this love into our hearts, then, and only then, do we have the capacity to love others well. Then and only then, will we be with Him in eternity. And the longer we let ourselves sit now and soak in the incredible love of God, the more it gets into us and changes us to be more Godly and more like Him, and the stronger our relationship with Him becomes.
Each and every day, we are presented with a chance to commit ourselves to the pursuit of Jesus, to get to the goal, to win the race and be with Jesus, to die to our old desires and come alive to a new way of living.
Life is full of distractions, trials, and temptations that can ruin your life. The only way we are able to navigate through all of it is to allow the Spirit of God to fill us, seal us, and empower us to have self-control.
